[Part 1] Grateful to @chrissyteigen & @johnlegend who gave us the opportunity to plan another unforgettable milestone. To celebrate @chrissyteigen’s birthday, we curated a three-day La Dolce Vita journey through Rome, Venice, and Siena - traveling aboard @ladolcevitaorientexpress. Highlights included lunch at @Aman_venice, a private glassblowing experience on the island of Murano, a dramatic (and hilarious) murder mystery dinner with @privatedramaevents, a cooking competition and lunch at @fattoriadicorsignano in Siena, and a final evening in Rome @gigi_restaurant_roma, @orientexpresslaminerva - complete with a surprise performance we’ll keep under wraps.

Ellie and Oliver’s invitation suite was the perfect blend of timeless and personal — a colorful toile sprinkled with subtle nods to Jackson, where the bride grew up. They wanted something classic, not overly western, so we paired elegant custom calligraphy and thick cotton paper with personalized watercolors. Hidden in the toile: antlers, mountain wildflowers, the two of them skiing, the Colgate flag where they met, and a yellow taxi for their life in NYC. For the after-party, guests were treated to a die-cut invitation featuring a moose peeking out from swinging saloon doors — a nod to The Mangy Moose, Jackson’s iconic après-ski bar and the scene of their late-night celebration.

Simple? I think not. The result that has grace and elegance, but the process was anything but straightforward. Like a successful ballet, the streamlined effortless belies the sweat and very real effort to create the effect. Dinner on the Cloudveil rooftop with 18 of our newest friends. This Western-inspired evening was wrapped in modern lines and walls of greenery. Denim linens, grazing stations, and menus that read “graze freely”— a nod to the wildlife of Jackson Hole and the laid-back luxury of the night.

Menus were double-thick and letterpressed, featuring custom calligraphy by @kei.haniyacalligraphy inspired by a little shop I found in Paris years ago. I saved their business card, knowing someday it would spark something special. This was that moment.

Dinner on the Cloudveil rooftop with 18 of our newest friends. This Western-inspired evening was wrapped in modern lines and walls of greenery. Denim linens, grazing stations, and menus that read “graze freely”— a nod to the wildlife of Jackson Hole and the laid-back luxury of the night.

For Jami and Ian’s welcome party, we created custom felt flags to tuck into floral arrangements, each one a playful nod to their story: Jackson Hole, Welcome to Wyoming, and The Madbergs (their sweet mashup nickname for their blended family). When you have a bride as cool as @ekogan with a maximalist vision you bring in @kei.haniyacalligraphy for a bold script. I wanted the letters to feel like Schiaparelli walked into a 1970s art gallery, and truly the type is such a standout feature of this invitation.
We also wanted to capture the enchantment of found items, the history of family heirloom, and the boldness of the avante garde. By layering textile and mixed metals and pairing it with pops of color and a painted pattern evoking a 70s bathroom wallpaper, we created an environment of discovery and warmth - a reality that guests got to experience later in the New York jazz club-style space created by @rikkiandmal for the wedding.

What a wild dream!
